Kairos Community College is excited to share that our Books for New Beginnings campaign is now underway as we continue building a warm, engaging reading space for students at our new Nambour campus. Our Year 10 learners, many of whom are reconnecting with education after time away, benefit immensely from having access to stories and topics that spark curiosity, comfort, and confidence.
And there’s more good news: a new weekly book club is starting up!
Every Wednesday morning, a mix of staff and students will begin the school day by reading together. It’s a simple, calm, community‑building way to start the morning, and our growing library will help make it even more meaningful.
How You Can Help
We’re inviting our community to donate new or gently used books suitable for secondary-aged students. These donations help us fill empty shelves and create a welcoming environment where young people can:
- escape into stories
- build confidence and literacy
- learn at their own pace
- discover new interests and ideas
Donations for the Nambour Campus library are welcome at any of our three Kairos campuses.
