Our Team

All Caloundra campus staff are passionate about supporting students to successfully complete their secondary schooling, and enjoy presenting a diverse and inclusive range of extra-curricular activities.

More classic school activities such as Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals are also offered, as well as Leadership and Whole School Camps. Houses are named after local fauna, and students are encouraged to participate in all activities and events at their own level.

With two buses running each day, and dedicated Youth Workers who have extensive awareness of, and connection to local support services, Kairos Caloundra is able to provide practical assistance to students and their families.

For the second year in a row, Kairos Caloundra has been awarded Fisher Education Provider of the Year Award by Andrew Wallace – LNP Federal Member for Fisher.

Now in their sixth year, the Fisher Community Awards are one of the Sunshine Coast’s most prestigious community awards programs, highlighting volunteers and achievers across the Sunshine Coast who make a difference in education, the environment, business and the community, and we are incredibly honoured to be recognised for the work we do here, and the positive impact we have in our wider community.

For reference, the Fisher electorate encompasses the towns and areas of Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Sippy Downs, Palmwoods, Landsborough, Beerwah, Glasshouse Mountains, Mooloolah, Maleny, Montville, Peachester, Curramore, Woodford, Conondale and Kilcoy. This huge area holds so many worthy schools, colleges, early learning centres, TAFE campuses, RTOs, and more, so to win this category twice is a wonderful acknowledgement.

We are proud of this recognition, and would like to thank everybody in our school community for contributing to this achievement.

A reminder to all students, parents, guardians and carers – Monday 5 May is Labour Day and is a public holiday.Labour Day is also known as May Day and is celebrated in most countries on 1 May, the date also chosen to be International Workers' Day to commemorate the 1886 Haymarket Affair in Chicago, a general strike for the eight-hour workday inspired by the Australian workers movements, who held the first-ever march for an eight-hour day in Melbourne on 21 April 1856.We encourage our families to take time to rest and enjoy the long weekend. πŸŽ‰ Congratulations Kairos on completing Term 1! πŸ‘We started our end of term celebrations with a novelty Easter Egg hunt around the campus. 🐰Due to the wet weather, we changed our plans of visiting Cotton Tree and instead treated our young people to a day out at The Big Boing! 🦘We then rounded off the day with pizza for lunch and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon playing games and many rounds of handball. πŸ€ΎπŸ•Thank you to everyone who participated!
