Every student has a story, and in 2025, Kairos Community College helped write some incredible chapters at our Deception Bay and Caloundra campuses. From exploring career interests to stepping boldly into post-school life, our Pathways program empowered young people to dream big and achieve more.
Reflecting on a successful 2025, we are incredibly proud of the growth and determination shown by our students. Our holistic approach to education, focusing on the individual needs of every young person, has led to significant milestones:
- 100 percent QCE attainment: We celebrated every one of our 29 graduates obtaining their Queensland Certificate of Education.
- VET excellence: Our students in Years 10 to 12 undertook 81 nationally recognised VET qualifications, with 39 qualifications successfully attained.
- Real-world experience: We supported 21 students in meaningful work experience placements, helping them build confidence and practical skills.
- Diverse pathways: Six students engaged in school-based apprenticeships or traineeships, while seven students embarked on tertiary study or a Tertiary Preparation Pathway.
These results were made possible by our dedicated team, including a Pathways Mentor at each campus providing personalised guidance to ensure every student feels supported.
Building on the success of 2025, our focus is now on supporting the next cohort of learners. We are excited to bring this same level of dedicated support to our Nambour campus, where we currently have limited places available for Year 10 students.
