Tony has taught in a variety of settings from mainstream to China to SAS schools like Kairos. He is very passionate about what we do at Kairos and believes that every student deserves an education, when they are ready. He values not just giving students an academic education, but teaching them to be contributing valued members of the community.

He is also a keen sportsman in any sport but actively enjoys AFL and cricket. He shares his passions on a daily basis and loves to have fun. He believes “our tribe is the future”.

Luke has spent his first 14 years of his teaching career in Education Queensland schools between the Sunshine Coast and Weipa, on Cape York. His roles have been split between sports coordinator, year level coordinator, community leader and pedagogy coach prior to arriving as Head of Campus at Kairos. He has always enjoyed working with students who are faced with significant challenges and coaching colleagues how to best support the learning of these students.

Luke is a highly active father of three and actively engages in triathlons and various other medium distance events. He is very energetic in his field, helping to motivate teachers to continue to improve.

Originally from a corporate background, Danielle has over 15 years’ experience in the education sector across both Catholic and independent schools in roles encompassing business services, facilities management, finance, governance, compliance and human resources. As Business Manager, she enjoys contributing to building the operational and strategic capability of Kairos.

Joe Valenzisi is an ICT professional with more than 20 years’ experience supporting schools and workplace technology environments. He takes a practical approach to solving problems, making sure systems are reliable, secure and easy for people to use. Joe enjoys helping others feel confident with technology and improving the small things that make everyday work run more smoothly. He believes technology should feel supportive and uncomplicated, enabling people to focus on what really matters.

Having recently moved to the Sunshine Coast from Albury/Wodonga, Joe loves going to the gym, heading to the beach and spending time with his children… who like to remind him they’re much better at tech than he is!

Working across both campuses, Darren is responsible for VET coordination and Diverse Learning support (NCCD). He has a Bachelor of Education with First Class Honours, a Diploma of Ministries and Theology, and a Cert IV in Career Development. Darren’s passion is developing young people holistically, helping them to be the best they can be. He believes a flexible and supportive learning environment is crucial, and his goal is to assist young people to successfully graduate with their senior education (QCE) while gaining external qualifications. In recognition of his impact on student learning and pathways, Darren was awarded Fisher Educator of the Year in 2025.

When not at Kairos, Darren enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children and being outdoors and active.

Katy has more than a decade of experience in independent schools and higher education, with a strong focus on streamlining processes and building community connections. After four years in an operational role at Kairos’ Caloundra campus, she now leads the school’s marketing, communication, and engagement strategies, working to share stories and celebrate achievements.

Her role includes developing digital marketing campaigns, managing brand identity, overseeing public relations, and coordinating events that strengthen relationships with families, alumni, and the wider community. Katy is passionate about creating compelling narratives that reflect the school’s values and vision, ensuring successes are communicated in ways that inspire and connect.

Holding dual qualifications in Business and Leadership & Management, Katy blends creativity with a practical approach to deliver initiatives that boost visibility and strengthen engagement across all audiences.

Jackie has over 30 years experience in finance and management, predominantly in the travel industry with a broad range of roles under her belt. She is our friendly and approachable Accounts go-to person, and supports all our campuses and Administration Hub.

Originally from Sydney, Jackie is loving the coastal lifestyle that living in Caloundra brings; and is excited to work for such a dynamic and growing organisation.
