Our Future Campus

The permanent two-storey campus will feature modern classrooms, breakout areas, kitchen facilities, staff spaces, and a half-court basketball court. In keeping with our commitment to relationship-based education, our classrooms are intentionally small to preserve the integrity of our model and ensure a low student-to-teacher ratio.

Enrolments and Growth

Kairos Nambour is currently accepting enrolment referrals for Year 10. Due to our intentionally small community, places are extremely limited and not all applicants will be offered a position.

The campus will expand to include Year 11 in 2027 and Year 12 in 2028, reaching a total capacity of approximately 60 students to ensure a personalised learning environment.

To apply for a position at Kairos Nambour, please follow our referral process HERE.

Our Programs

At Kairos Nambour, we provide an holistic approach to education. With small class sizes, the support of teacher aides in every classroom, and a flexible curriculum tailored to each student’s needs, we are committed to helping young people succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

In Year 10, students will engage in:

  • Short Course Literacy and Numeracy
  • Science in Practice
  • Arts
  • Health & Physical Education
  • Business and Information & Digital Technologies
  • Certificate II in Active Volunteering

Our curriculum combines Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) subjects with nationally recognised vocational training, preparing students for a variety of post-school pathways.

Can you support our students as a campus volunteer? As Volunteering Australia's National Youth Volunteer Week comes to a close, we are shining a light right here on home ground across our campuses. While our students are out supporting the wider community, we also rely heavily on our amazing community of local supporters to help keep our own campus hubs thriving. One of the most loved traditions across our Caloundra, Nambour, and Deception Bay campuses is our weekly tribal lunch program, where we come together over a warm meal to connect, share stories, and build a strong sense of belonging. Preparing and serving regular lunches for growing teenagers takes a lot of hands, and we are always looking for friendly community volunteers to help us cook, prep, or lend a hand on campus.Whether you can spare a few hours to help cook a hearty meal, share a special skill, or support our campus events and breakfast clubs, your time makes a massive difference to our students' daily lives and wellbeing. If you would like to get involved and support your local campus, please visit kairos.qld.edu.au or contact us on 07 5391 178#nyvw2026#YourYearToLeadY#kairoscommunitycollegei#campusvolunteersV#triballunchr#communitysupporti#sunshinecoasts#moretonbayMoretonBay See MoreSee Less

It is Volunteering Australia's National Youth Volunteer Week, and this year's theme, 'Your Year to Lead', captures exactly why active volunteering sits at the heart of our learning model. At Kairos Community College, volunteering is integrated directly into our Year 10 curriculum as a timetabled subject through the Certificate II in Active Volunteering. Traditional classroom settings do not suit every learner, and shifting the focus from personal challenges to serving others can be transformative. Through practical community work, our students:🩵 Develop core employability skills like communication, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving.🩵 Build genuine confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones and discovering their strengths.🩵 Connect with community mentors, breaking down social barriers and feeling valued. When young people are trusted to lead, they rise#nyvw2026c#YourYearToLead2#kairoscommunitycollegei#activevolunteering #InclusiveEducation #StudentSuccesstion #StudentSuccess See MoreSee Less
