Our Future Campus

The permanent two-storey campus will feature modern classrooms, breakout areas, kitchen facilities, staff spaces, and a half-court basketball court. In keeping with our commitment to relationship-based education, our classrooms are intentionally small to preserve the integrity of our model and ensure a low student-to-teacher ratio.

Enrolments and Growth

Kairos Nambour has begun accepting enrolment referrals for students commencing Year 10 in 2026. Due to our intentionally small size, places are extremely limited and not all applicants will be offered a position. In 2027, the campus will expand to offer Year 10 and 11, and by 2028, it will support a full senior secondary cohort (Years 10-12), with a total enrolment capacity of approximately 60 students.

To apply for a position at Kairos Nambour, please follow our referral process HERE.

Our Programs

At Kairos Nambour, we will provide an holistic approach to education. With small class sizes, the support of teacher aides in every classroom, and a flexible curriculum tailored to each student’s needs, we are committed to helping young people succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

In Year 10, students will engage in:

  • Short Course Literacy and Numeracy
  • Science in Practice
  • Arts
  • Health & Physical Education
  • Business and Information & Digital Technologies
  • Certificate II in Active Volunteering

Our curriculum combines Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) subjects with nationally recognised vocational training, preparing students for a variety of post-school pathways.

Big changes for families: Social Media Age Restrictions are now in effect! As of 10 December 2025, major social media platforms , including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, X and others, are required to take reasonable steps to prevent Australians under 16 years of age from creating accounts. This world-first legislation aims to make platforms more accountable for the safety of children online. • Under-16s can still view publicly available content without logging in.• Most gaming and messaging apps, as well as health and education services, are not affected.• There are no penalties for children or parents – the responsibility lies with the platforms, which face fines of up to $49.5 million for non-compliance. At Kairos, we believe every child deserves a safe and positive online experience, and we’re committed to supporting families through this transition. We also encourage parents to revisit our mobile phone policy and the research behind it, including insights from The Anxious Generation, which highlights the impact of smartphones on wellbeing.
