Kairos honoured as Fisher’s top Education Provider for second year

Kairos Community College Caloundra is incredibly proud to have been awarded 2023 Fisher Education Provider of the Year for the second year in a row at the Fisher Community Awards held on 22 November 2023.

An initiative of Andrew Wallace – LNP Federal Member for Fisher, these awards recognise the contribution made by schools, community organisations, businesses and individuals in the Fisher electorate.

For reference, the Fisher electorate encompasses the towns and areas of Caloundra, Kawana, Mooloolaba, Sippy Downs, Palmwoods, Landsborough, Beerwah, Glasshouse Mountains, Mooloolah, Maleny, Montville, Peachester, Curramore, Woodford, Conondale and Kilcoy. This huge area holds so many worthy schools, colleges, early learning centres, TAFE campuses, RTOs, and more, so to be a finalist in this category is a wonderful achievement, let alone to win twice!

Our Head of Campus Luke O’Sullivan shared, ‘It was an honour to win this award last year and an absolute privilege to win it again in 2023. This tells us that the impact we are having on the lives of our young people is being felt across our community. Thank you to all who support what we do and congratulations to the other award nominees.’

We would like to acknowledge our fellow Education Provider finalists Talara Primary College and Sing Out Music Academy for the good work they are doing for young people in their areas.

The entire Kairos team is very proud of this recognition, and we thank our staff, our students, our parents, carers and guardians, and those who support us so generously, for being a part of this special community.
