To mark Bullying No Way Week (17-21 August 2026), our Caloundra campus ran a whole-school wellbeing activity focused on connection and positive affirmation.
Students and staff each received a personal envelope displayed on our main campus windows, creating a space where anyone could drop in a kind message, inspiring quote, or thoughtful note throughout the week. By Friday, everyone gathered to collect and read their messages.
The experience created a wonderful atmosphere across the campus. Reading these heartfelt messages proved deeply moving for many of our students, showing just how powerful simple acts of kindness can be. Beyond the envelopes, it sparked meaningful discussions about encouragement, community, and the lasting impact of lifting one another up.
The best part? This activity is simple, low-cost, and easily adaptable for any school or workplace looking to foster connection and boost morale. We would love to encourage other teams and organisations to give it a try… you might be surprised by just how much of a difference a few kind words can make.
A huge thank you to the team for facilitating such a meaningful initiative!
